For six years, RITROVO® founders Ron Post and Ilyse Rathet lived in Italy, studying, traveling, and researching indigenous foods and wines. Along the way they met and gradually built relationships with talented, small-scale producers throughout the country. Ilyse and Ron also developed a passion for the products that they found. These foods came to "tell a story"— of centuries-old traditions, the value of diversity, and the implications of supporting small farm production.
