DOP Extra Virgin Olive Oil by Tenuta Cocevola Terre Di Bari

From southern Puglia comes this small-production DOP extra virgin olive oil, Tenuta Cocevola. We visited this winery, set overlooking the Adriatic sea, in June, and were impressed by their wines, olive oil and overall food culture. We were also enchanted by the historical Castel del Monte, which lends its name to the sub-zone of this DOP from the Province of Andria.

Made from 100% coratina olives, hand harvested and rigorously cold-pressed, this oil has the classic bold Pugliese taste coupled with the quality low-acidity, careful handling and sense of terroir that characterizes a RITROVO® product.
