Ricotta Filling for Leone Cannoli
Ingredients
2 cups Ricotta cheese
½ cup powdered sugar ¼ cup semisweet chocolate chips Pinch Casina Rossa Sweet & Salt ½ jar Ritrovo Selections "Spiritosi" Cherries - drained and chopped, with 1-2 Tbsp liquid reserved. |
Directions
In a mixing bowl, whip together the ricotta cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add in the chocolate chips, chopped cherries, salt (if desired) and enough Spiritosi liquid to make a smooth filling. Using a small spoon or pastry bag, fill the cannoli shells.
Arrange on a platter and serve with your favorite hot or cold beverage. Buon Appetito!
